Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor has made headlines again by purchasing a vast 25.7-acre plot of land in Pune’s Mulshi region, specifically in Pimpri village. According to TV9 Bangla, the transaction was officially registered on April 30, 2026, with the total market value estimated at ₹16.42 crore.

The property, made up of four adjacent plots totaling 1,04,000 square meters, includes a 21,400 sq. meter plot bought for ₹3.31 crore, a 29,900 sq. meter plot for ₹4.62 crore, the largest 43,800 sq. meter plot for ₹7.07 crore, and a smaller 8,900 sq. meter plot for ₹1.39 crore. Additionally, Kapoor paid a stamp duty of ₹82.13 lakh to secure the property under his name, as per official government records.

This significant real estate investment is not Kapoor’s first. Earlier this year, he acquired a luxurious 2,134 square foot plot in the premium residential project "The Saryu" by The House of Abhinandan Lodha in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Valued at around ₹3.31 crore, this land lies on the banks of the Saryu River within a sprawling 75-acre residential development that also features a royal vegetarian hotel by the renowned Leela Group.

Expressing his sentiments on the Ayodhya property, Kapoor stated that he believes Ayodhya chose him and that he simply answered its call. He emphasized the deep cultural and historical roots embedded in this sacred land, viewing the property as a unique legacy for his family’s future generations.

Alongside his expanding real estate portfolio, Ranbir Kapoor is set to appear on the big screen soon as Lord Shri Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's much-anticipated film "Ramayana." He will share the screen with South Indian superstar Yash and actress Sai Pallavi.
