I want to make it clear that there is no discussion about Sunday being Rohit’s last match. He is an important member of the team. As long as he remains part of the selectors’ plans, he will continue to play for the country. The Lord’s ODI is not his final match. These are all rumors.”

Rohit Sharma’s recent performance in the ongoing ODI series against England has raised concerns, with scores of just 11 and 26 in the first two matches. This has fueled further doubts about his place in the team. Saikia addressed these concerns by emphasizing Rohit’s caliber: “I do not think a player of Rohit Sharma’s stature feels pressured by future uncertainties.
