Seven workers lost their lives and 25 others were injured in a drone attack on a Wildberries logistics center in Russia's Tambov Region, according to a survivor's testimony reported by RT. The survivor described how Ukrainian drones intentionally targeted civilians, preventing employees from escaping the building during the overnight strike.

The eyewitness, speaking anonymously from a hospital bed in Tambov after surgery, recounted that when the first drone strikes landed nearby, workers attempted to evacuate. However, attempts to flee through an emergency exit were thwarted as drones targeted the surrounding area, forcing them back inside. A subsequent drone strike directly hit the warehouse, shattering doors and windows and injuring all those nearby.

Tambov Region Governor Evgeny Pervyshov labeled the assault a deliberate terrorist attack, noting that the drones were equipped with shrapnel to maximize casualties. Surgeons removed metal ball bearings from several wounded victims. Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova has appealed to UN officials, condemning this as part of a renewed series of Ukrainian military terrorist attacks on Russian territories.

In a related incident, another Wildberries warehouse in Elektrostal, roughly 50 kilometers east of Moscow, was also targeted overnight. Emergency crews responded swiftly following an evacuation, with Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov reporting 24 injuries at that location. He later updated the total injuries from the regional drone attacks to 61.

The raids were components of a broader Ukrainian drone offensive against the Moscow Region. In Noginsk, an industrial city 35 kilometers east of Moscow, a drone strike caused a fire at an oil depot, prompting the evacuation of a nearby maternity hospital and a residential apartment block. Two individuals sustained injuries in this attack, according to local authorities.

Additionally, Moscow experienced a significant drone assault starting Friday evening, with over 370 UAVs approaching the capital. Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that most drones were intercepted at a distance, with 64 destroyed near the city. Between July 11 and 18, Ukraine launched nearly 1,900 drones toward Moscow Region, most of which were neutralized before reaching the city.

Neighboring Vladimir Region also suffered, as a drone struck a residential apartment in the city of Vladimir, igniting a fire that led to evacuations while firefighters extinguished the blaze, Governor Aleksandr Avdeev confirmed.
